Derek Bowman with his wife Marie and daughter Tiffany on the side porch of their home in the 7th Ward of New Orleans. Bowman's house has been part of his family for generations, but in 2018 he's one of the last longtime residents on his block. In 2015 the city sold the house out from under him and now he's renting it. Photographed for The Weather Channel.
